Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
We know Preem holds some of the most personal information there is — your baby's NICU diary, medical notes, feeding and pumping logs, milestones, and photos. This page explains, in plain language, exactly how we protect it. No legal jargon — just our promises to you.
Private by default
Every baby profile, diary entry, medical note, feeding and pumping log, milestone, and photo you add is private to your account. It is never shared publicly.
Only you (and family you invite) can see it
Your data is only visible to you and family you invite — a spouse or partner you add through the Family sharing invite in your account settings. No one else, ever.
We never sell your data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising, ever.
Encrypted, login-protected
Everything you send to Preem travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and every page that shows your baby's data requires you to be signed in first.
1. What we mean by “your data”
This covers everything you enter into your Preem account: your baby's profile (name, birth date, due date, discharge date), diary entries, medical notes, feeding and pumping logs, growth and weight entries, milestones, and any photos you upload. All of it belongs to you.
2. Your data is private — never shared publicly
Every parent's data in Preem — baby profiles, diary entries, medical notes, feeding and pumping logs, milestones, and photos — is private to their own account and is never shared publicly. There is no public feed, no public profile page, and no way for a stranger to browse or search anyone's Preem data.
3. Who can actually see it
Your data is only visible to you and family you invite. When you sign up, only you can see your baby's information. If you'd like a spouse or partner to see and log alongside you, you can invite them from Account settings → Family sharing — they get access only once they accept your invite, and only to the household you invited them into. We never add anyone to your account without your action.
4. We don't sell your data
We do not sell your personal data or your baby's data to anyone, for any reason. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your baby's NICU journey is not for sale.
5. How your data is protected
Every connection between your device and Preem is encrypted using HTTPS, the same standard banks and hospitals use to protect information in transit. Access to your data is gated behind a secure, authenticated login session — no one, including us, can view your baby's data without signing in as an authorized member of your household.
6. Payments
If you subscribe to Preem Premium, your card details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Denovo, which acts as the merchant of record for your subscription. Preem never sees or stores your full card number — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.
7. Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@preemapp.com. We'll confirm once your data has been permanently removed.
8. Not medical advice
Preem is a development-tracking and organization tool, not a medical device or diagnostic service. Always consult your child's pediatrician or NICU care team about developmental or health concerns.
9. Updates to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date above so you always know where things stand.
